favourite character?

Hey everyone! Everything's mostly set up; please tell your friends about us!

In the mean-time, let's kick this off with a discussion — I'll be putting up topics/questions occasionally, feel free to post your own.

Inception's been criticised for not having enough character motivation; in a very small cast, we don't know much about a lot of the side characters. Despite that, a healthy-sized fandom has already sprung up. So, who was your favourite character, and why?

D-do I have to choose? I'm not sure I legitimately can.

Mal or Ariadne!

I really enjoy how Ariadne handles Dom and how she's both grounded and yet has that spark to her. I am also really a big fan of Ellen Page so this may be some halo effect.

Mal is just. . . unignorable! She's a force and every time she showed up something was going to happen.

And there's more, but I just woke up be patient with me >:

Ariadne, by a long way :) She's the main reason I'm not quite convinced by the it-was-all-a-dream theory; she talked too much sense and was too rounded a character to be a projection. So if the entire thing was a dream, who was she, really?

She's also awesome! That part where she's just playing around with the dream landscape - I know everyone goes for the huge effects shot where the street folds in two, but for me the mirror thing was way more impressive...and telling.

Arthur! He is simply the most awesome and inventive inside a dream. Those fight scenes in zero-gravity - I cannot find the words to describe how much those impressed me.

My favorite by far is Eames, the trickster figure, and I love the idea of Eames/Arthur.
